Guess Who! Yeah We Are Still Alive!

I know it's been forever since I have posted to my blog! Well since I posted last I have been to Arizona twice, spent 5 days at Lake Powell, have a new nephew, sold my first house, bought a new boat, sold a boat, got rear-ended on my way to work, and the list goes on. Maybe that's why I haven't had time to blog. So sorry! Anyways I know all of my pictures are from boating but it seems like the only time we actually take pictures. I will try and find some other ones to post as well.

So I told Gavin I wanted to get off the boat and climb up this little wall. Well he dropped me off and I didn't have any shoes on and I thought I was getting pretty high, but of course he was yelling at me from down below telling me I wasn't really that high and I should go higher, so gullable me I kept getting higher and higher. It really wasn't too bad except for the fact I had to come back down and with no shoes on.

Lindlee & Harlee really don't like each other. This was an absolute shocker that they laid like this. Harlee usually bites at Lindlee whenever she even gets close. I think Harlee means business but Lindlee just thinks it's a game. TOO CUTE! This is my piano I just got. One of my hair clients decided she was tired of it sitting in her basement and just GAVE it to me. I can't believe it! It was her grandmothers and then her mom's, so I still can't believe she gave it to me. I love playing it! Harlee & Bentlee have to BOTH sit on my lap if they are in there while I play. I guess I'm not too bad!
Now I can see this one! Bentlee & Lindlee really do like each other. Lindlee was in a lovee mood that night I guess.The new VOYAGER! We couldn't pass up an incredible deal this winter so we ended up with a new toy! It is so much fun. It has everything our house does pretty much. Heat, AC, bathroom, shower, stove, fridge, sinks, etc. This is my idea of roughing it! :) (Thanks Mom for that trait)

This was hilarious I was calling Lindlee to come with me and she would not come so I started back towards her to see what she was doing and this is what I saw! Lindlee had this crow trapped on the mirror of the truck! She would not let it out of her sight and it didn't want to move. I was actually waiting for it to attack her, they are pretty vicious!

Harlee & Bentlee stayed wrapped up a lot of the time. It was pretty chilly!

We let the girls get off the boat and run around for a few hours. I guess someone wore themselves out running and jumping nonstop, like she had never seen land before.

This is what your back yard looks like when you have 2 boats! I'm sure our neighbors loved looking out their kitchen window at these 2 huge things towering over the fence. Luckily we sold 1!

Okay this is my latest NECESSITY! (Right Sis?) haha! I absolutely think everyone should have these. They are the best. I actually like doing the laundry. SURPRISE! Thanks Gavin for giving in and buying me these!

DISNEYLAND

Well we just survived a whole week in Southern California with the whole family! Everyone got along great and the kids were good "most" of the time! One exception for Carter when he was crying so hard because he couldn't have his plastic snake that he had gotten, because he whipped Mya in the face, that he threw up all over the car, which was packed from front to back! Gotta love you Carty!
We had a great time going to Disneyland, California Adventure, Sea World, Universal Studios, the beach, and of course the Orange County Swap Meet! We loved spending time with the family, we hadn't all been together for over a year!
We all indulgded Mom and got a family picture taken with everybody! It was pretty embarrassing walking down to the hotel lobby and out by the pool with 15 people all dressed the same! And of course it had to be early morning and everyone was down at the breakfast area eating! Everyone was staring at us while we were trying to take the whole family picture and get all the kids to smile at once! It was a sight I'm sure!
The week flew by with all of our activities and I was super sad to have to leave! I can't believe how all the kids grow up so fast! We took Ashlyn on Splash Mountain and she thought it was so hilarious, especially because Aunt Katie got soaked and she proceeded to tell the ride lady that "Aunt Katie peed her pants". She couldn't get enough of it, I have to admit it was hilarious! Kessa loved the fact that Katie and "Gabin" got to ride with her in her car, and Aunt Katie could read her stories and play in the car. It was so cute she just kept saying "Katie read me story?!" I think we read all of her books more than once! I loved the time I got to spend with her! Ryker loved to tease Uncle Gavin! His little sense of humor was so cute, and he was brave enough to ride the Matterhorn with all of us! And of course we got introduced to "Chucky". I love it because I know someone else that had to carry their "blue blanky" everywhere they went too! I couldn't get enough of Carter telling me everywhere we went that there was "Mater" and his rope! So finally when we saw them in real life at California Adventure, I couldn't wait to show him! And his pirate outfit was the best ever! He came into our room all decked out, from his eye patch, to his hook over his hand, and don't forget the sword! Mya is just my sweet little chunk! She was such a good girl the entire trip! She just went along with everything and never made a peep! Even when her big brother whipped her with the snake, threw sand in her eyes and mouth, or tried to kick her from his car seat to hers! Watch out Carter for your pay back! :)
I loved the time we got to spend together and can't wait until the next big family trip!

Weekend Trip

So we braved another weekend at the lake! The 'girls' are starting to understand the whole boating process. Lindlee is especially fond of 'her' boat! She comes down the dock as fast as she can and we tell her to get into her boat and she jumps right in, even into the right boat! Luckily! She acts like she owns the whole place. She was just running around, going up to everyone and wanting them to pay attention to her. Mommy's shy one!
We tried the whole swimming thing again, but still didn't have very much luck! This time Gavin got clawed by Lindlee instead of me! Bentlee and Harlee are still my little swimmers. Bentlee is still worn out from this weekend and doesn't want to get out of bed in the morning! I had to pick her up and put her on the deck this morning to go outside! My little chunkers!

I caught my first fish ever! It only had one eye and was missing it's fins on one side. So either it had been caught by a bunch of other people too or maybe it just was a 'special' fish! It was still exciting but I didn't touch it at all, I made Gavin do all the dirty work! We caught tons more but only kept 4. Gavin's dad caught the "Catch of the Day". It was a 25" rainbow, and he was a fat one! The Marina took a picture of it with Gavin's Mom and put it in the counter to show off. I still am not sure about the whole fishing thing though after watching Gavin gut the fish! Maybe next time I'll actually touch one! or NOT!
Anyways another fun weekend on the boat!

Our Maiden Voyage! We finally got time to take our new boat out for the season! We went to Strawberry Resevoir. We went with Gavin's parents and they had their boat also! The weather was way hot outside, but the water was only 67 degrees. When we first got there, the boat was running great but would not get up to speed so Gavin was trying to look at the pitch of the prop and FELL IN! It was dusk so it made it even colder! The girls were hilarious! They all tried the swimming thing! Lindlee was terrified and obviously can't swim, even with her life jacket on! Bentlee just sat and floated in hers and Harlee was my little swimmer and doggy paddled around! (Mommy's little princess!) Shocker out of all of them that it was Harlee though! We also went on a little hike up a stream and were able to see the fish spawning! We ended up having a GREAT first time out!
